Rumored Specs of Sony Odin
The October 11 begins with another rumor. Have you heard of Sony Odin? It is the company’s flagship smartphone for 2013. And now, we have a little info about the hardware specs of the device. These details were found on online on a forum thread about Xperia-related rumors. However, let us go on, and then we shall decide believe this member or not, especially when this person wrote a post about the codename “Odin” of the device in June.
As the member tells, the new Sony Odin will appear with a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution. I can imagine the excitement of Sony fans. However, I think it is not impossible if taking into account the joint venture between Sony, Toshiba and Hitachi. The device is told to feature 2GB of RAM and powered with the APQ8064. This is the same quad-core Snapdragon S4 SoC available on the LG Optimus G. According to the source, the new Sony device will not be water-resistant and dust-proof. Besides, the company is planning to announce a 6-inch Sony device too.
Believe it or not, I guess we should only wait. We do not know for sure whether the info is correct or not that is why we get the answers to our questions most likely in Q1 of 2013.
