Olympus OM-D E-M5 Shipping Starts

Olympus seems to start shipping its new amazing mirrorless camera named the Olympus OM-D E-M5. The company will ship the camera worldwide and in the US too. This is the first OM-D camera by the company that brings Micro Four Thirds interchangeable lens system. The Olympus OM-D E-M5 already managed to get released in Japan last month but in limited editions. The new Olympus OM-D E-M5 sports a 16-MP Live MOS sensor paired with TruPic VI image processing engine. It features a fast AF system, 3D AF tracking plus a five-axis stabilization system for blur reduction.


The new camera 2012 comes in a rugged case; it is dust and splashes-resistant. The Olympus OM-D E-M5 is equipped with a 3-inch OLED touch display and high resolution electronic viewfinder.

The Camera will be shipped to Germany, Canada and the UK (the US mentioned above). You can buy its black body on Amazon for $999 , while the 12-50mm lens is available for $1,299.
