Motorola Droid RAZR HD Is official

Today Motorola announced the Droid RAZR HD smartphone with Verizon branding. The phone sports a 4.7-inch 720p Super AMOLED screen with no physical buttons. Plus, there is also a Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

From other features I can also mention a 2500mAh battery, which surpasses the Motorola Droid RAZR by 40%. It’s LTE capable and runs Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. But what’s more disappointing Motorola doesn’t plan to update it to Jelly Bean this year.

Verizon will be requiring $100 for it on contract, which is an expected price. After launched in the US, the device will be released globally, though the company will drop the Droid moniker, because it’s Verizon’s exclusive

DROID RAZR HD: Performance and Power
Building on the DROID RAZR legacy, the new DROID RAZR HD expands the innovation with a new 4.7-inch Super AMOLED HD display that allows movies, photos, magazines and even websites to appear with vivid clarity. DROID RAZR HD provides customers with 78 percent more pixels for a more vibrant display and features 40 percent greater battery capacity than the original DROID RAZR.

The viewdini app is at its best with the HD display and 4G LTE speeds to watch movies, television shows and other video content. Viewdini brings the power of Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network to the screen by streamlining access to videos from a wide range of content providers, including cable operators, websites and other popular video sources.
