Lenovo ThinkPad Twist Convertible Tablet
If you have been looking for a cool tablet, then the Lenovo ThinkPad Twist is a perfect choice. The new tablet is available at Staples for $799.99 and it’s cheaper than the expected price ($849). This new Lenovo gadget is basically a notebook coming with a touch-enabled screen, which can be rotated and fold down over the keyboard and be transformed into a tablet. By the way, it is one of the first convertible tablets coming with Microsoft’s new Windows 8 OS.
As for its specs, the new ThinkPad comes with a 12.5-inch touch IPS display with Gorilla Glass the resolution of which is 1366 x 768 pixels. Running Windows 8 the notebook/tablet is based on an Intel Core i5-3317U Ivy Bridge processor clocked at 1.7GHz and has 4GB of RAM and 500GB hard drive.
The other features include a card reader, Bluetooth, WiFi, Ethernet, two USB 3.0 ports, mini HDMI and DisplayPort jacks. The Lenovo ThinkPad has both touchpad and a pointing stick, but it does not support active digitizer or digital pen.
The dimensions of the new Windows 8 tablet are 12.3 x 9.3 x 0.8 inches and the weight is 3.5 pounds.
