Infinitec Pocket TV Turning to Smart TV [video]
Infinitec has announced a new Pocket TV that can turn your TV into a Smart TV. Featuring a small pocket-sized dongle, the new Pocket TV sports HDMI 1.3 (video and audio) port for connecting any regular TV. With thus little dongle the user can bring the Android experience to the living room where you are sitting. The users can play games, browse the web on TV with the help of Wi-Fi connection, download apps from Google Play Store share them on Facebook and Twitter with friends.
The new Pocket TV is based on a GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor with Mali 400MP GPU. It has 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal memory expandable with microSD card (up to 32GB).
Among the connectivity features are HDMI, USB 2.0 and Mini USB ports, and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n. The dimensions of the Pocket TV by Infinitec are 86 x 31 x 14 mm and weighs 35 grams.
The Pocket TV runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and will come with IR remote control. It will also bring Air Remote with gyroscopic sensor and a full physical QWERTY keyboard for controlling the Pocket TV. It will most likely be available in the market in October and will cost about $160.
