Freecom Mobile Drive Mg portable HDD
Freecom is planning to start offering its new portable hard drive- the Mobile Drive Mg. The latest hard drive will most likely will come in July 2012. The new gadget has been designed for use in Mac’s computers and Windows computers (require to be reformatted).

Featuring ultra-lightweight and strong magnesium case the Freecom Mobile Drive Mg has 15mm of thickness. The new hard drive will be available in 1TB of capacity and will boast Thunderbolt interface, which offers rapid data transfer from/to Mac devices. By the way, the speed of Thunderbolt is up to 20 times faster than traditional USB 2.0 connectivity.
The new Freedom Mobile Drive Mg is said to be the smallest portable hard drive that has Thunderbolt high-speed interface. It also has USB 3.0 port (and backward compatible with USB 2.0).
The Thunderbolt-ready Mobile Drive Mg will be available for £185 (about $290).
