AT&T LG Optimus G Launch on November 2nd
AT&T has confirmed the launch date of the LG Optimus G. All those who have been waiting for the smartphone can start pre-ordering it from October 16th and get it from November 2nd. The price for the new smartphone from LG will be $199.99 with a new 2-year contract – the same price as the 16GB iPhone 5. The LG Optimus G has been officially announced for AT&T this month and is considered to be AT&T’s first quad-core 4G LTE smartphone.
The smartphone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS but it is upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. It is based on a 15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and has 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory. The display of the device is 4.7-inch True HD IPS+ and it comes packed with an 8MP rear-facing camera and has a 2,100 mAh battery.
