Android to Recieve a Virus Scanner with future Google Play Store Update
It seems like Android’s Google Play is going to get a built-in malware scanner. The string file that was founded in one of the latest Google Play updates shows Google is currently working on a built-in application for detecting viruses on Android. Due to this, many of Android users will calm down when knowing about the safety of their OS s.
The software update is called “App Check,” and judging by its look it has been especially made for detecting malware. No official announcement has been made, the App Check will firstly scan pre-installed apps to find out whether the device has got malware or not. After it, it will bring new installations and will worn the user if he/she contains malware or not.
After scanning the device the result will either be “All-good” or “Oh no!”
However, let us not get that excited since the new app does not function yet. It will most likely be available with the new versions of Android, more exactly with Google’s “Bouncer” online service.
